My interest in psychology and human behaviour has led me to over ten years of experience working in mental health services. I am a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), and I have worked across secure mental health hospitals, NHS IAPT services, and corporate settings.
I began my career within a multidisciplinary team in a secure mental health hospital, supporting individuals experiencing mild to severe mental health difficulties and complex presentations. As my training and clinical experience developed, I went on to deliver evidence-based CBT interventions in both individual and group therapy formats.
I have extensive experience providing CBT for a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, and trauma-related difficulties. Alongside my clinical work, I also provide CBT clinical supervision to other therapists, which supports safe, reflective, and ethical practice.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Whether it’s your first experience or returning, my aim is to always provide a supportive, compassionate space where you’ll feel truly heard.

Therapy Approach
I am a fully insured and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I work in line with the highest professional and ethical standards to ensure safe, effective therapy.
My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based treatment recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). CBT is a practical, structured therapy that helps you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact and how these patterns can maintain distress.
During our CBT sessions, we will explore your experiences together and develop balanced, rational reflections to help identify and challenge unhelpful patterns. CBT is an active and collaborative process, designed to empower you with practical tools and strategies to support meaningful change and help you achieve your personal goals.
While CBT forms the foundation of my work, I tailor therapy to suit your individual needs. I integrate principles from third-wave CBT approaches, including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), where appropriate.
Each session is guided by a clear therapeutic rationale and a strong ethical framework, ensuring a flexible, client-centred approach that is adapted to what works best for you.
